Fraternity/Sorority XC, NWL YA League #3, LFOTM

A relatively quiet weekend of running, but big results. Seyfu Jamaal and Jessica Prior were placed first (respectively) in the Fraternity/Sorority XC in Trent Park, Heathside U13, U15 and U17 boys teams won and U15 girls team came second in the NWL XC League also at Trent Park, Conor Brown achieved a great time in the San Sebastian Half and Heathsiders did well in the Last Friday of the Month, with James Hurrell coming in third.

London XC Champs

The featured event this week was the London XC Championships held on Parliament Hill, where our Men took the team title, with Seyfu picking up the individual silver medal. The women’s team took 4th place, but unfortunately the Junior events were cancelled.

Winning start to Met League campaign

At the season’s opening Met League event both the Senior teams performed well, with the Women’s team in 1st place, Rebecca Piggott taking an individual 2nd place, and the Men’s team in 3rd The Junior Women also won their event and the U13 boys & U11 girls placed third. Elsewhere. Seyfu Jamaal added the club 10mile record to his collection at the Great South Run, the Women’s team placed fourth at the opening Sunday League XC, and there was a good turnout at the Cabbage Patch road race

European Masters and Middlesex 10k Gold

Matthew Rallinson took gold in the Middlesex 10k heading the Senior Men to retain their title. The Young Athletes started their XC season at Greenford with Sam Turner winning the U15 Boys.Matthew Rallinson took gold in the Middlesex 10k heading the Senior Men to retain their title.
