Martha Jolly set a new U15G 60m record.of 8.17s at Lee Valley, Seyfu finished 3rd in the Milton Keynes Winter Half. Filipe Cardoso finished 4th in the Dawn to Dust Ultra-marathon. A bumper field enjoyed the open spaces of Trent Park in the Sunday League and both veterans and juniors enjoyed the Southern Masters and Inter-Counties races at Lloyd Park, Croydon.

Read MoreThis weeks report sees Beth Hawling produce another fine run to finish 20th in the Cross Challenge in Liverpool while a band of hardy souls braved Storm Arwen to compete in the Fraternity and Sonority Cups at Trent Park which also incorporated the Chingford League and NWLL (however these results are not yet available). The Senior Men were 3rd and Women 5th place. Adam Kirk-Smith finished 3rd in the Malcolm Cup meeting in Belfast. Adrian Essex also organised a clean up of the Finsbury Park Pavilion’s roof.

Read MoreThis week saw a break from cross country action, with Heathsiders taking the opportunity to participate primarily in longer distance events . The highlight was the 3rd and 4th places at the World Duathlon Championships from Kelly Thorneycroft and Karina Kaufmann respectively in their age groups. There was also a rapid time recorded at the Reading Half by Sefyu Jamaal, and other good performances at different events over the 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon distances
