The highlights this week include the Middlesex Young Athletes League, an Ultra from Switzerland and the annual club handicap.
Read MoreThe big news of the weekend is that we won our SAL Division 2 meeting on our Finsbury Park home base - and it was a wonderfully well-organised event, thanks to Jonathan Litchfield and his team.
Read MoreAn absolutely bumper set of results this week as Heathsiders showed no signs of winding down for their beach holidays just yet, instead turning out far and wide to keep me busy, including pitching up mob-handed at the FASTFriday, tackling some duathlon action, forging on with an ongoing 10-mile challenge, competing in a frankly hideous – sorry, gruelling – sounding ultra-steeplechase event and the usual smattering of runs at the regular 5 and 10k races around London.

However, we were also aware that we would be up against some pretty tough competition in this match.
