Delicious Dolomites Trail Race, Cortina, 27.9.25
Rebecca Marshall reports “ Last weekend, I completed the long course of the Delicious Dolomites Trail Race. It was originally meant to be 43 km but was shortened to 37 km due to snow on the highest peaks. This meant that the WW1 tunnel section wasn't possible. Despite that, the race still offered plenty of adventure.
It began in the town of Cortina, where I was approached by the race commentator, who asked if I was Lauren Irwin, the GB Olympic rowing medalist. Errm... no.
The event had a friendly atmosphere, with local restaurants showcasing their food at the checkpoints. After more than 2,000 m of climbing across stunning mountain tops, there was even more local food to enjoy in the finishers' marquee.
A fabulous experience!”

Bieg na Piątkę Gdańsk 2025, Gdansk, 27.9.25
Monika Newton reports” I hope you're doing well. After the disappointment at the Berlin marathon, I decided to mix things up and go for a shorter and faster race. It was a very last minute decision whilst visiting a friend in Poland. I'm thrilled to share that everything fell into place perfectly!
I managed to achieve a personal best for the 5km with a time of 18:37. To top it off, I also secured the 3rd lady spot.”
