The Berlin Marathon produced excellent results all round for Heathsiders with Kader Seyed leading the group home, and many medals were won at the Middlesex 10K. And in the Robin Hood Half Jake Evans raced home coming in 19th place in a time of 1.13.

Bronze at the National XC, Peak District Challenge and Swim/Run

This week is dominated by the re-arranged English National Cross Country Championships with Charlie Nicolson winning a bronze medal in the U13Boys race and the U17W finishing 4th. Elsewhere there was Masters athletics, Filipe Cardoso taking part in the 100km Peak District Challenge and Hannah Yip taking part of the Serpentine Swim/Run.

Big Half, National Schools Games, London Masters & Heath Duathlon

The main event in terms of Club participation was the 30+ Heathsiders who took part in The Big Half, led home by Seyfu in 4th place overall ; there were Track & Field medals won, at the National Schools champs by Elkie Baker, and at the London Masters champs ; plus there was good club participation at the 25th Hampstead Heath duathlon

National Relay Champs, World Masters Athletics Champs and Watford Graded Open Meeting

Some excellent performances in the past week, particularly from Adrian Essex who was a member of the Great Britain V70 4x100m team in Sweden which finished 3rd to take home a bronze medal in the World Masters Athletics Champs. And our U17 men came 5th and Senior men 3rd in the National Relay Championships in Birmingham

More track action whis week with Elkie and Malaki medalling at the Southern Age Group Championships, at Lee Valley Asia Emanuel broke her Club U17W 100m record and Leon Seale sets a new 100m PB of 10.67s
