Elsewhere there were a scattering of evnts which included a win for Evangelista Divetain at Regents Park, a fast 10K from Tom Hollis at Battersea, and a ‘Splash and Dash’ event at London Royal Docks
Read MoreHeathside’s two outstanding performances of the week came from U15 sprint and hurdles star Imani Quamina, who qualified to compete in the England U15/U17 championships in Manchester at the weekend. Imani, who is the London 75m hurdles schools’ champion in her age group, ran this event only three-quarters of an hour after running in the 200. Her time of 12.21 gave her fifth place in her heat. In the 200 she came sixth in her heat in a nifty 27.67.
