It was one of the busiest weekends of the year so far, with numerous results to report on, including two firsts since the start of the COVID pandemic - the first SAL fixture and a fixture abroad (the Madeira Masters)., In addition, we have fantastic news of a Heathsider being ranked first (yes, FIRST!) in his age category nationally, as well as achieving a national record in his age category. There were PBs, wins and great performances from different parts of the country, including Cornwall, the St Albans half marathon and events closer to London.

Seyfu claimed silver in the Southern 5,000m with George Gurney 5th. At a hot Battersea Park Trey Corlis (JB 100m) and Imani Quamina (JG 75mH) both claimed gold with Magdeline Paitoo (JG 200m) silver. Thomas Archer was in 1500m action at Watford. Andrew Jones set a new Club best in the V55 400m. Jo Irwin recorded an Age Group win in the sprint triathlon at Eton Dorney.

It was a massive weekend of racing with an absolute triumph for Heathside at the MYALS, along with wins and PBs in other events including a trail marathon, a half marathon, track events, and more. There have been a number of club records broken, and a new UK record achieved! A truly wonderful start to the season.
