It was another busy week for Heathsiders, during which four club records were smashed and numerous PBs were set. Seyfu had a fantastic run in Kew Gardens, demolishing the club 10K record, which had stood since 2004, Tom Archer knocked an amazing 4s off the club 1500m record, and Mary Kehoe set new V55 records. Steve Pennington ran two marathons simultaneously on different continents.

On Saturday the juniors had their first races since lockdown, at Lee Valley, with some impressive results, and on Sunday there was some great racing from the U17s and over.

More physically present racing took place at the weekend with Andy Law rising to the challenge of a super hot 100 mile North Downs Way and 4 Heathsiders taking part in a Covid-19 pilot race at Chelmsford.

Steve ran the Centurion 50k, winning the V50 category in a fine time of 3:26 (going through the marathon mark in an impressive 2:55). Two weeks later Steve and his girlfriend Lisa ran the Endure 24-hour race, and together they completed 123 miles.
