A bumper week of running from Heathsiders who didn't let a wee bit of rain (a common theme in this week's report) stop them from getting out far and wide to take on a variety of marathons and half marathons, with a few trail runs, duathlons and shorter distances thrown in for good measure. Read MoreThe main news from the past weekend was the amazing performances put in by our young athletes at the Middlesex county young athletes and senior relays, where they picked up 4 gold medals. But there were also plenty of other excellent performances at races and events including the Great North Run, Tallinn Marathon, a trail marathon in Farnham, an ultra in Switzerland, the Delft World Icosathlon Champs and the World Masters in Malaga.
