Saturday's Met League opener saw over 100 Heathsiders hit the bone-dry Claybury course, where we had some promising individual runs from our young athletes, our women teamed up to make it a winning start to the season, and we finished the afternoon with our two best runners racing it out at the front end of the men's field.
Read MoreEighteen heathsiders ventured north of the M25 on Sunday to take part in the ever popular Ridgeway Run in Tring (this year it sold out well before race day). This is a beautiful, but "challenging", 15k trail race over bridleways and footpaths.

Read MoreDespite unpromising skies and a suspended overground connection, we had a flood of Heathsiders at the Middlesex 10k, the latest instalment of our club road race champs. We managed to get 52 over the finish line, ably supported by a small but cheerful rabble of non-participating clubmates.
Read MoreWe had a great track and field turnout at the final London Inter Club Challenge (LICC) fixture at Hendon, where there were some outstanding performances. Of particular note were Jimmy T and Rich Macaulay both coming third in high-class 100 and 800 metre fields respectively, with Rich inside two minutes again, and Charles Hardy leading home the 1500m race by some considerable distance.
