Sunday league cross-country, Stevenage, 21st December, 2025
Last Sunday saw a large turn-out for the third race in the Sunday league cross-country series, taking place in Stevenage. Flavia Dent led Heathside women home, finishing 10th overall. She was followed soon by Katie Belkin and Olivia Sweeney. Martin Potter was the first Heathsider to finish in the men’s race, with Philip Hogg and Mark Jefford finishing soon after. A special mention goes to Ruth Miller who finished second in her age category. As ever, thanks go to Heathside team captains Laura Boothman and Micheal Hickey for their continuing support and enthusiasm, with Laura bringing her amazing reindeer cupcakes and immunity boosters (otherwise known as clementines).
