RunThrough Victoria Park 5K & Half Marathon 8 Mar
Gavin Evans reports from the Run Trough event at Victoria Park, where he broke the club V65 record in the 5K
“ Two Heathsiders ran in the 5k at Victoria Park and one former Heathside stalwart ran the half marathon. Conditions were perfect – cool and no win or rain – for this RunThrough event that covered the 5k, 10k and half. In the 5k Gavin Evans ran as a tune-up for next month’s Manchester Marathon in 19:41 and Christopher Greenwood, who is coming back from a calf injury, ran 21:14. It was good to see Dave Hellard of Bad Boy Running and caffeine bullet fame taking a break from family duties to run the half in 1:20:50. “
