Young Athletes secure 2nd place in UYDL at Kingston
Following the Seniors excellent start to the SAL campaign the Club’s U17/U20 athletes recorded a convincing display in the 2nd UYDL meeting at Kingston finishing 2nd to move up to 2nd place in the table with Promotion now in sight. Chris Hartley broke the club V60 1500m record at Watford.

The Club's Young Athletes continue to reach new highs securing a comfortable 2nd place in the 2nd UYDL meeting hosted by Kingston AC & St Mary's. This was again without many endurance runners. With winners of the first match Brighton slipping to 4th place that leaves the Team in 2nd place with one match to go.
Highlights of the days athletics included Trey Corlis win in the U20M Discus, Elkie Baker won the U20W Discus despite struggling with illness, In the U17 Men Malakai won the 100mH and Mikel Alexander the 100m. The day was rounded off with some great relay running with the team winning the both U20 4x100m, while the U17 Men won their 4x100m the U17 Women won the 4x300m. Special mention should be made of Livia Blustin who ran both the 3000m and 1500mSC earning valuable points.
