Southern U14/U16/U18 Track and Field Championships and MYAL
This week’s race report includes the results from the SEAA Southern U14/U16/U18 Track and Field Championships, Chelmsford and the latest fixture of the Middlesex Young Athletes League in Hendon. Also, well done to Elkie Baker for her selection as part of the GB&NI Team that will be competing in the European U18 Championships in Reiti, Italy on 16-19th July.
SEAA Southern U14/U16/U18 Track and Field Championships, Chelmsford, 27-28th June 2026
Simon Baker sends the following report from Chelmsford:
“The weekend saw the Southern Age Group Championships at a very hot Chelmsford. The outstanding performance was Charlie Nicolson breaking the Club U16B record twice to win the Title and rank UK 7th overall. Abena Boyer made the final in the U14G 75mH. Despite having the 6th best time in the heats Mikel Alexander missed out on qualifying for the final. After setting a new club record in the U16B 300mH Gabriel Edwards chose not to take part in final to focus on English Schools in 2 weeks time.”
