Southern Cross Country Champs and London Indoor Games

There was a good Heathside turnout for the Southern Cross Country Champs, and also excellent results at the London Indoor Games

EAA Southern Cross Country Championships, Beckenham Palace Park, 24.1.26

The highlight of the days racing was undoubtedly the U15 Boys team bronze in the first race of a sunny day in South London. The team was led home by Charlie Nicolson in 9th with Alex Kirk, Rory Willis and James Mcguire all in the top 50. Other runners finishing in the top 50 included Amy Kirk, Rose Schofield and Amelie Randall but there were strong performances from all the young Heathsiders who turned out at the start of the business end of the Cross Country Season. Slightly weakened teams saw the Senior Men 11th and Women 12th in what is always a highly competitive meeting.
