Seyfu breaks Club record for 5 miles at Battersea, Malakai breaks 4 club records in Pentathlon at Lee Valley

The snow and freezing conditions for most of last week and this past weekend meant many events were cancelled. But despite it all, Seyfu broke the club record for 5 miles, coming 7th place in the Battersea Under Lights Christmas 5 mile race on Friday and Malakai set 4 new club records in the Pentathlon and won a silver medal at Lee Valley at the weekend!

Simon reported: “Malakai who has been training hard under coach Mary has been in superb form since the indoor season started and last weekend competed in his first Pentathlon at the Southern Championships.  Competing in the 60mH, LJ, HJ, SP and 800m he managed to set 4 new Club Records and won a silver medal with an impressive 1969 pts.”
