English Schools XC Championships and Middlesex Indoor Championships
Lots of action from last weekend with the Club excelling at the County Indoor Championships, young athletes at English Schools XC Championships and a range of road races from Rome to Milton Keynes and also 50km traiI racing.

6 young Heathsiders headed to Pontefract to take part in the English Schools Cross country wearing the colours of either Middlesex or London. Best performance was Amy Kirk, 1st yr IG who finished 39th

Middlesex Indoor Championships - Lee Valley Indoor Athletics Centre 16/17 March 2024
As the weather draws to a close the club’s track and field athletes produced a host pf superb performances at the Middlesex Indoor Championships with County Champions in Sprints, Hurdles, Middles Distance, Jumps and Throws. The Club finished 2nd to TVH in the medal table with 11 Gold, 11 Silver and 5 Bronze medals, 4 new club records and a Championship best performances.
Senior Men titles went to Abel Woldegiogis (800m) and Israel Nworgu (60mH) Israel also adding a bronze in the Long Jump. It was great to see 4 enter the 60m competiton with Carlos Mingoes making the final. Similarly we had 4 Senior Women in both the 60m and 200m competitons with Jeanne Vellard and Nevecia Terrilee Pecco medaling in both.
In the U20’s Trey Corlis took the 60m title and 60mH. Our new jumping star Prithvi Raj Sharma took gold in the High Jump (equalling the club record of 180m), Long Jump and Triple Jump with Thomas Wassermann silver in the SP. Imani Quamina took silver in the U20W 60mH. Sam Brown set a new Championship best and Club Record winning the U17M 400m while Montana Dennis won the 60mH. In the U17W Magdeline Paitoo won silver in both 200m and 300m. Milli Bridgman Athansatos took gold in the Long Jump and set a new club record of 9.94m while taking silver in the Triple Jump.
In the U15’s Gabriel Edwards took the 60mH title and Ennio Kaloukian silver in the 800m. In the girls Malia Anderson-Watson set a new club record of 9.06m winning the shot. Edith Waites (U15G 300m) and Lila Blustin (U15G 1500m) took silver. Matilda Lachmann (U15G 300m) and Maya Westgate (U15G 800m) won bronze medals.
