Club Track and Field Awards 2025

Thanks to SAL Team Captains Lily Woolcock and Richard Macaulay for judging and making the following awards top recognise some of the fantastic Track and Field performances for the Club in the Southern Athletics League this season.

Performances of the Season:-

Men:- Trey Corlis 110mH 15.27s (Finsbury Park)

Women:- Elkie Baker Discus (1Kg) 41.61m (Kingston)

Athletes who scored most points for the team across the season were:-

Men

1st Thomas Wassermann – All round contribution to the team throwing, jumping and hurdling.

2nd Ivan Ross – Proving age is just a number Ivan contributed vital points over a range of events including Pole Vault.

3rd Mu’izz Otton and Carlos Mingoes – Two of the clubs sprinting stalwarts both securing valuable points.

Junior:- Malakai David MacKenzie Callum – Malakai despite being an U17 proved himself over senior hurdles, Long Jump and High Jump.

Women

1st Hester Hill – Hester  scored 34 points in 3 matches and would try anything with new PBs in thr 400m, Pole Vault and High Jump.

2nd Kesia Adeji – Kesia again showed her versatility recording PB’s in 100m, High Jump and Triple Jump.

3rd Elkie Baker – Elkie won 3 of her 4 Discus competition with the 4th 2nd place to the UK bronze medalist she also secured a Shot Putt PB of 8.79m.

Junior:- Ivy Paitoo – The youngest competitor in the Senior team happily taking up the challenge of Senior weight Hammer and Shot Putt.
