Reason for the Award:-

Nicole has produced a number of PB’s and excellent performances in the MYAL meeting reflecting her hard work in training.

Award will be spent on:-

Nicole has requested the award be spent covering transport costs for young athletes competing in the UYDL and SAL meetings.

May 2025 - Kyra Smith

Reason for the Award:-

Kyra has continued to develop as an athlete and competed in a range of events for the club at both young and senior level. She has also undertaken coaching training and assists the coaching of young athletes.

Award will be spent on:-

Kyra has asked for the award to be spent on providing travel costs and entry fees to alternative training venues for young athletes while Finsbury Park was closed for repairs.

April 2025 - Edie Waites

Reason for the Award:;-

As well as continuing to train Edie has continued to volunteer to help with the coaching of the younger athletes and is much apreciated by the adult coaching team.

What is the award to be spent on:-

The award was spent on additional equipment for her training group e.g. Blocks and long pit equipment,

March 2025 - Leonard Hewings

Reason for award:-

Leonard continues to train hard accross all the throws breaking the Club U15B record and winning gold at the County Indoor Championships.

What the Award was spent on:-

The award was spent on new training equipment for the young throwers at Finsbury Park.

February 2025 - Filip Kounoupas Prastalo-

Reason for the Award:-

Filip has had a spectacular XC season winning the last Met League of the season and also becoming the Southern XC Champion.

What the Award was spent on:-

The award was spent on a range of athletics equipment for use by the Clubs Young Athletes.

Reason for Award

Ennio has demonstrated his dedication to training and competing for the club over the last few seasons and is now a vital member of the clubs U15 Boys team. His versatility over both a range of middle distance track distances as well as cross country is apreciated by the club.

What did you spend the money on?

The award will be used to help purchase new specification Javelin's (700g) for the new track and field season.

Edith has started the cross country season exceptionally strongly including 3 top 10 finishes in her 4 races this season which has resulted in a call up to represent Middlesex at the SEAA Inter-counties race.

Mini has evolved from a young athlete to an assistant coach helping provide support and coaching to several young athlete groups ensuring they have a structured warm up drills and how to use blocks.

Charlie has had a great XC season and took this into the road racing securing a superb 12th place in the TCS London Mini Marathon

Suraya has taken a further leap forward this season achieving the qualifying standard in the 75mH for the English Schools Championships while winning the County title and has also run 12.73s for the 100m.

Oscar Hall

Despite only joining the club last year Oscar has worked hard with his coach with spectacular results and has shown his versatility across all the sprinting distances as well as the Long Jump. He also represented the Club Senior Team at the SAL.
