National Schools, InterCounties, & Club Handicap

18/7/19   A wide range of activity to report on this week, from the National schools championships, a 3.59 1500m at the Inter Counties, the annual Club Handicap, a race the neighbours road race, triathlon at Thorpe Park, and a Quadkids track event


Southern Athletics League Fixture #4 at Ashford

18/7/19   This report is focuses on round 4 of the SAL competition as London Heathside travelled over to Ashford in Kent and put in a creditable performance winnning several individual events on the track, although finishing up in 3rd position. The final round in the series takes place at Woodford on 17 August

Junior Training over June and July

The next MYAL meetings are at Parliament Hill on Sunday 23rd June and Allianz Park on Sunday 21st July

Junior Training over May Half Term
DATE: 17/05/2019

Due to the MYAL on Sat 25th May and half term there will be no Introduction to Athletics on Sunday 26th May. 

Mary will however be running a Half Term Training Camp on 10.00-11.30am Sun 26th May, 5.00pm-6.30pm Tue 28th May and Thur 30th May. Please contact her for details:

Quadkids and Junior Open
DATE: 27/03/2019

This Sunday 31st March at Finsbury Park Track there will be a Junior Quadkids Competition and Junior Open for members from U13 to U17 (events include 100m, 200m, 400m, 1500m, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Javelin and Discus).
Registration opens at 10.00 am
Junior training over the Easter holidays
