Sunday Cross Country League - 2nd Fixture - Trent Park 12th November 

Trent Park Running Club are pleased to invite you to the 2nd Sunday League Race
10:30am start, 12th November 2017 at Trent Park
 
Note: It is Remembrance Sunday so allow a bit more journey time and be prepared for a minute’s silence prior to the start.
 
Date: Sunday 12th November 2017
 
Start time: 10:30am the start is half way along the Pineapple (road) on the LHS.
 
Course: An enjoyable 2 lap course over the fields and stony paths of Trent Park. Studs / cross country/short spikes advisable- it could be very muddy in places.
 
Distance:  Approximately 5 miles / 8k
 
Location:  Trent Park (see below for directions)
 
Changing: None available - please come ready to run. Toilets situated in main Car Park near the Café
 
Parking: Please only use the Trent Park entrance, off Cockfosters Rd near the Underground Station. Parking is limited so please use public transport or share cars if at all possible.  There will be no parking at or access to Southgate Hockey Club.
 
Start and Finish: About 5 mins from the car park adjacent to the tarmac road known as The Pineapple. Please aim to be there in plenty of time so that the start is not delayed.
 
Refreshments: The Café should be open to buy refreshments.
 
By public transport: Trent Park is situated at the end of the Piccadilly Line. Alight at Cockfosters Station. The park entrance is about a 10 minute walk away.
 
By car: If you are coming from North London, the car park entrance to Trent Park is on the right, approx. a third of a mile after Cockfosters Underground Station.  Approaching from the M25, take Junction 24 and head towards Southgate on the A111. It is about 2.5 miles from the motorway.  Please be aware there is a speed camera a little while after you have descended the steep hill known as Stagg Hill.  The Trent Park entrance is clearly marked.
