Training
London Heathside provides a choice of training venues throughout North London including Finsbury Park running track N4, the YMCA Harringay Club, N8, the Royal Free Recreation Club, NW3 from Highgate Tube Station each Sunday, Trent Park Cockfosters each Saturday and Parliament Hill track, NW3.  Each location has a different focus for training, with something to suit everyone’s tastes.

For adult (18+) beginner runners

For those who are new to running or returning after a layoff please first go to our Tuesday run at the YMCA Harringay Club where we leave at 7.30pm with a large group of runners. We have a number of members who are assigned each week to look after new starters. This is a great introduction to our running club for those who have been training on their own and are capable of 30-40 minutes of steady running or jogging. Wednesdays at 7.00pm at the Royal Free Recreation Club also has a small beginners group but this tends to be a faster paced session. If you are more interested in sprinting, throwing or jumping then first come to our track at Finsbury Park at 7pm each Tuesday where we will organise the appropriate group for you.
