How We Are Run
Our Committee
The club is run entirely by volunteers. The committee, elected each year at the Annual General Meeting in June in accordance with the Club Constitution, meets 10 times a year to enact the business of the club. As you will see some committee members have dual roles, so additional help is always needed.
In 2010 the club achieved Sport England’s Club Mark certifying London Heathside as a safe pace for young athletes and vulnerable adults. Full details can be found here. In addition in 2010 London Heathside was recognised by Sport Islington as their Club of the Year.
The club is also a member of the North London Athletics Network, with Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers, Highgate Harriers and Middlesex University. This is an England Athletics initiative to fund the development of coaches and coaching within members of the network.
