Heathsiders take gold in Hackney Marshes & Trent Park

Heathsiders triumphed in the Hackney Marshes mud and rain at the North London Cross-Country Championships on Saturday, taking home both team winners’ trophies. Our four A-team women (Rachel Newstead, Cas Wright, Leah Michaels and Bethany Scott) were in the top 15 as were our six A-team men (Adam Kirk Smith, Andrew Brooker, James Woodridge, Andy Barnes, Martin Potter and Chris Norris). Our vets also took double gold, led by Martin among the men and Ourida Sid among the women.
