BMAF South of England indoor champs, Brighton Half
21/02/2012: Away from the Sunday league cross-country and usual parkruns some of our vets took part in the BMAF South of England indoor championships on Sunday, clocking age-group winning times and PBs, while Clare, who appears to be our sole runner in the Brighton half, put down a good, sub-90min marker.

Middlesex Vets Cross Country Champs
Although most of the Heathsiders who were hoping to race the first weekend of February had their plans ruined due to the snow causing cancellation of the Watford Half, three of us got lucky by getting our race - the Middlesex Vets Cross Country Champs - in before the blizzard.

The 6th year of the AAA Tom Pink Memorial Relays and Field Events challenge at the NIA has upheld its reputation for athletics fun – relay races including trying to beat the times of some of our great distance runners and on the field, Sportshall activities such as weight throw for height, caber toss, shot put, standing log and triple jump, highland steps and soft javelin.
