range of levels.
Membership of these organisations and networks also enables Heathside to benefit from club development opportunities, such as training for coaches, and demonstrates the club’s dedication to providing its members with the best possible support.

Sponsored by McCain and co-ordinated by England Athletics, Athletics Networks are clusters of clubs that work together with other local partners to develop athletics in their area. The North London Athletics Network was set up in 2010, and brings together London Heathside, Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers and Highgate Harriers to work alongside partners such as Middlesex University and Barnet Athletics Development Group in developing athletics across our area by pooling and sharing knowledge and expertise and delivering joint initiatives. For example, the group will focus on establishing development opportunities for coaches, in particular those specialising in jumps, at all three clubs by utilising the experience of coaches working across the Network area. It will also bring on board highly qualified throws coaches to train athletes and develop and mentor existing coaches at all three Network venues throughout year.
